The Rostock Working Group Digital Humanities (RosDH) warmly invites you to the lecture series "Digital Humanities in Focus" during the summer semester 2025. Held in cooperation with the Junior Professorship for Digital Humanities, the series is now entering its fifth edition—once again offering a diverse and engaging program. Contributions will come from Rostock, across Germany, and international guests representing three continents.
The range of topics covered is deliberately broad: from addressing the challenges of dismantling existing information structures in a era of social injustice and institutional collapse, to innovative digital approaches to both tangible and intangible cultural heritage, and even the use of geoparsing technologies applied to Catalan crime literature at the turn of the 21st century.
From the big picture to the finer details, "DH in Focus" provides a space for interdisciplinary exchange and fresh impulses from current research. Everyone with an interest in the field is warmly invited to attend—either in person or online.
