Digital Humanities to go

The University Libraries of Rostock and Greifswald are hosting the online series “Digital Humanities to go” during the 2026/27 winter semester. In a series of 20-minute Coffee Lectures, speakers from Rostock and Greifswald will introduce digital tools and methods for research in the humanities.

The series is open to anyone interested and requires no prior technical knowledge. Topics range from AI-assisted text recognition and corpus linguistics to automated transcription and network visualization. Several speakers from Rostock’s Digital Humanities community are also contributing to the programme: alongside Prof. Dr. Ulrike Henny-Krahmer, Professor of Digital Humanities at the University of Rostock, Dr. Andy Räder (WKT/INF) and Caroline Müller (University Library Rostock), both members of the Rostock Digital Humanities Working Group (RosDH), will also take part in the series.

Further information, the full programme including abstracts, and the access details for participation are available on the University Library Rostock website.
