29th IuK Verbund Theme Day

On the one hand, the Digital Humanities (DH) are a field in their own right with their own degree programmes, specialist conferences and journals. At the same time, however, they are also an interdisciplinary field of research that consists of cooperation between computer science and the humanities and their respective neighbouring disciplines. What constitutes the DH at its core is only made possible by the interdisciplinary research projects and is thus continuously fertilised.

The aim of the Theme Day is to discuss the emergence of interdisciplinary research projects in the DH. How do project partners find each other, how do ideas for joint projects emerge and how can they be launched?
